Specialists of the Center for Contemporary History carry out a complex of works to ensure the design and construction of objects for various purposes related to the exploration of the area for the presence of explosive objects. Following article 14 of the Federal Law of December 21, 1994, No. 68-FZ “On the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies” and part 2 of Article 5, Articles 9 and 18 of Federal Law No. 384-FZ of December 30, 2009 “Technical Regulations on the Safety of Buildings and Structures” inspection of the territory for the presence of explosive objects is mandatory when carrying out design and construction in areas of former military operations, or areas where the presence of unexploded ordnance is potentially possible. The absence of an act of inspection of the territory of work for the presence of explosive objects agreed with the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the relevant region, is the reason for refusing to receive a positive expert opinion on the project documentation being developed.

The purpose of such works is to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment during construction, installation, and maintenance work at the construction site. The main task of the work is to analyze the construction site for the presence of explosive objects.

The survey of the area is carried out with the help of modern equipment – GPR OKO, specialized metal detectors (Whites, PulseStar), and magnetometers (Ferex). The necessary topographic and geodetic reference is provided. Multi-level quality control of the work performed is carried out. Work on the survey of the area for the presence of GPS, measures for medical support, and environmental protection are carried out following the requirements of the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS).

According to the results of the work, the customer is provided with an Act of inspection of the territory of work for the presence of explosive objects, agreed with the local authorities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
